The idea we have chosen is how teenagers have changed through time and what we think has influenced that. We feel that an acceptable age for our target audience would be about 30-50 as many people in this age bracket are more likely to either be a teenager or have a teenage child than other groups, also most 40-55 year olds are the most prejudice about teenagers than any other age group, it is these people who were the Mods and the Punks as teenagers and so were stereotyped in a bad way.
We think a suitable time for our documentary to be shown would be about 8:00pm as it is late enough to attract slightly older viewers but also early enough that it would not lose younger viewers. We think broadcasting our documentary on Channel 4 will also be beneficial as they are renowned for their documentaries usually being more hard hitting and cutting edge.
